Church Family,

If you have been to church lately, you have probably seen and met Will and Corrine Weaver. I received the following email from Corrine yesterday evening. Perhaps some in the church family would be willing to join with Angel Tree in providing for a needy child right here in this area? Here is the email:

“Hello Pastor Jim and elders,

I’m not sure who to ask about this but today I learned about the Copper Country Angel Mission here in Calumet. I’m sure some of you are familiar with them. They’re doing their Angel Tree right now which boils down to helping provide Christmas gifts for kids in families in need who otherwise wouldn’t receive any gifts. Each kid lists two needs and two wants. They still have a few kid’s tags waiting to be chosen and gifts purchased.

Is this something our church and/or people within the church could help with?

They’re looking to have gifts distributed to families by Christmas Eve so purchased gifts need to be to the mission by the 20th.
