Our doors are open this Sunday

Beginning on May 31, we will again be having Sunday morning services.  We are looking forward to gathering together to worship and hear God’s word.    We will be starting services at our usual time of 10:00 a.m..

To help with physical distancing, there is green tape on the back of pews indicating places to sit.  There will be a collection basket at the back of the sanctuary for offering.  For communion both the juice and the bread will be placed into a cup, please take one cup of each while the ushers hold the trays.

If the sanctuary reaches capacity or you do not feel comfortable with the spacing in the sanctuary, please use the fellowship hall for extra seating.  Communion elements will already be placed on the tables.

If you are not feeling well or have a family member that is not well, we ask that you rest at home and let us know so that we can be praying for you.

Please know that (while we are hoping to be seeing everyone again soon) if you do not feel comfortable with any of these measures and feel that you are unable to attend, you are still a valuable part of Grace Christian Fellowship.  We will continue to broadcast services on-line (LIVE, Facebook, YouTube) and will continue to look for ways to minister together in serving the Lord.

Statement of Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk Related to Coronavirus/COVID-19

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, a pandemic. COVID-19 is highly contagious and known to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people over the past several weeks.

By attending Grace Christian Fellowship of the Copper Country (the “Ministry”), you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you and your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. You also acknowledge that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and/or others, including, but not limited to, Ministry employees, contractors, volunteers, members, and participants and their families. You agree to assume all the foregoing risks, waive liability against the Ministry and any other listed parties, and accept sole responsibility for any illness, injury, disability, or death to you or your family, including all claims that may arise resulting from any of these.
