From Pastor Kevin – March 26, 2020

Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord,

It is a difficult time for our community, our nation and our world.  It is important that we remember Psalm 97…THE LORD REIGNS!  No matter what…God is in control.  We can trust Him.

Remember what Martin Luther said as he was facing the plague…

I shall ask God mercifully to protect us.

Then I shall fumigate, help purify the air, administer medicine and take it.

I shall avoid places and persons where my presence is not needed in order not to become contaminated and thus perchance inflict and pollute others and so cause their death as a result of my negligence.

If God should wish to take me, he will surely find me and I have done what He has expected of me and so I am not responsible for either my own death or the death of others.

If my neighbor needs me however, I shall not avoid place or person but will go freely as stated above.

See this is such a God-fearing faith because it is neither brash nor foolhardy and does not tempt God.

As I spoke with David Hernandez yesterday he talked about this video…I pray it will be a help and encouragement at this time.

Prayercast | Coronavirus
The COVID-19 coronavirus is impacting almost every corner of the globe. Its massive reach, spread, and death toll has earned it the title of a “pandemic.” Drastic global measures have been taken to try and contain it, including cancellations, travel restrictions, closed borders, and mandated quarantines.

Remember that we are having church online for at least two more weeks.  You can view this Sunday live beginning at 10AM.  You can also find the past 2 Sundays messages online also.  Please let me know if there is anything that you need, or anything that we can be praying for you at this time.  I am attaching a prayer list of needs that I have heard of.

You can view our online services at our LIVE page or the church’s Facebook page.
